Başak Atalay Design Studio was founded by the partnership of Basak Atalay –one of the founder partners of Trio Design- and Başak Güleç Atalay in 2000. Başak Atalay Design Studio’s works had been on interior design in various areas like foremost store and exhibition stand design, office, cafe, restaurant design in Turkey and also abroad. Most of the works also include the application of design. Using advanced modelling and display technics in projects and producing many and various architectural designs and applications till today; Başak Atalay Design Std makes various applications in product development, corporate identity design, graphic and packacing design in which design is the discriminating factor.

Başak ATALAY
Born in Eskişehir in 1974. After graduating STFA Anatolian Technical High School constraction departmant, he gained admission to ITU department of industrial product design. He studied Art History as graduate program at the same University. In 2003 he finished his work on “Topkapı Palace through the eyes of the westerners”. His work was published in various books and periodicals as article. He continued his design career he started in Trio Design that he founded with Volkan Tankut and Burak Daylan in 1997; with his wife Başak Güleç Atalay in Başak Atalay Design Studio until 2000.

Başak GÜLEÇ ATALAY
Born in Ankara in 1977. After graduating Ankara TED High School, she studied at ITU Industrial Product Design between 1995-1997. After passing to METU, graduated in 2000 from the same department. Then she started Art History graduate program and worked on Anatolian Carriages. Started her design career from year 2000 in Başak Atalay Design Studio which she founded with her husband. Başak Güleç Atalay also has a cat named Zeytin.
